Upload & Check your PB file

Validate your .pb file to check for issues.
If your file is valid, you can send it to our admins for acceptance. Approved files will be published on the site.

We only use your email to contact you about your submission.

Column order isn’t mandatory, but it’s strongly recommended and follows our PB data format. See PB data format and the checker field order.

Our PB Checker is open source: pabulib/checker. We welcome contributions. If you spot a bug or have an improvement in mind, you can open an issue or submit a PR — or just share your thoughts via our email pabulib@uj.edu.pl.

How this works

Files are uploaded to a temporary area (tmp) and then analyzed by our Checker. The per-tile panel below shows the Validation Report (Checker).
Outcomes:
- Valid — file parsed successfully and is ready to upload to the main library.
- Processed but invalid — file was parsed, but the Checker found issues (e.g., inconsistent metadata or schema problems). Review details under “Show details”.
- Not processed — file was skipped (e.g., not a .pb file, cannot be parsed, or exceeds the size limit).
Limits: up to 100 files per batch and a maximum file size of 10 MB.
